Chinese kinship words tell you which side of the family someone is on and whether they are older or younger: 奶奶 is your father’s mother, 外婆 your mother’s mother, 堂哥 and 表哥 are cousins on different sides.
How to use this deck
- Look at the front and say the answer out loud before you flip.
- Flip, check, and mark Knew it or Didn’t know. Be strict: a slow or half-right answer is a miss.
- At the end of the set, review only the cards you missed until none are left.
- Come back tomorrow and do the set again before starting a new one. Short daily sessions beat long ones.
