- HSK 3.0 (2026) is the current syllabus: 300 / 199 / 498 / 997 / 1,598 / 1,794 / 5,585 new words for levels 1 to 6 and 7–9.
- HSK 2.0 is the older six-level exam (150 / 150 / 300 / 600 / 1,300 / 2,500 new words), still used for regular test dates.

Flashcards get words in; stories make them stick
A flashcard teaches you that 银行 means “bank”. Reading it in a sentence is what makes it automatic. When a deck feels comfortable, read a few graded stories at your level: most HSK 3.0 cards here show an example sentence from one.
