Will / likely to: 会
Subj. + 会 + Verb (+ 的) · Traditional: Subj. + 會 + Verb (+ 的)
Besides learned skills, 会 (huì) predicts the future: 明天会下雨 "it will rain tomorrow", 他不会来 "he won't come". It's about what is likely to happen, not about ability — context makes the meaning obvious.
For confident reassurance, wrap the prediction in 会…的: 别担心,他会来的 "don't worry, he WILL come". The 的 adds a "trust me" tone.
