The Lion and the Mouse
有一天，一只狮子在森林里睡觉。One day, a lion was sleeping in the forest.突然，一只小老鼠不小心跑到了狮子身上。Suddenly, a little mouse accidentally ran onto the lion's body.狮子被吵醒了，非常生气。The lion was awakened and very angry.一把抓住了老鼠。He grabbed the mouse.说：“你竟敢打扰我！我要吃掉你！”He said, 'How dare you disturb me! I will eat you!'
老鼠吓得发抖，小声说：“求求你，放了我吧！”The mouse trembled with fear and said softly, 'Please, let me go!'“我这么小，不够你吃一口。”'I am so small, not enough for you to eat in one bite.'“如果你救我，我将来一定会报答你的！”'If you save me, I will definitely repay you in the future!'
狮子听了哈哈大笑：“你这么小，能帮我什么？”The lion heard this and laughed, 'You are so small, what can you do?'但他觉得老鼠可怜，最后还是松开了爪子，放走了它。But he pitied the mouse and finally let it go.
过了几天，狮子不小心掉进了猎人设的陷阱。A few days later, the lion fell into a hunter's trap.被一张大网紧紧缠住。He was tightly entangled in a large net.他拼命挣扎，却怎么也逃不出来。He struggled desperately but couldn't escape.
这时，小老鼠听到了狮子的吼声。At this time, the little mouse heard the lion's roar.它赶紧跑过来，用牙齿一点一点咬破了网。It quickly ran over and bit through the net bit by bit.狮子终于得救了！The lion was finally saved!
老鼠对狮子说：“你看，我说过会报答你的吧！”The mouse said to the lion, 'See, I told you I’d repay you!'“即使小动物也能帮上大忙。”'Even small animals can be of great help.'
狮子又惭愧又感激，从此再也不小看弱小的朋友了。The lion was ashamed and grateful, never again looking down on weak friends.
