The Restoration of the Gospel

神shén是shì我们wǒ men的de天父tiān fù，祂tā照着zhào zhe自己zì jǐ的de形像xíng xiàng造zào了le我们wǒ men。God is our Heavenly Father, and He created us in His image.祂tā认识rèn shí我们wǒ men每měi个gè人rén，也yě爱ài我们wǒ men。He knows us personally and loves us.祂tā想要xiǎng yào祝福zhù fú我们wǒ men，赐给cì gěi我们wǒ men平安píng ān和hé完全wán quán的de喜乐xǐ lè，这zhè祝福zhù fú会huì持续chí xù到dào永恒yǒng héng。He wants to bless us with peace and a fulness of joy that will last for eternity.

耶稣yē sū基督jī dū是shì神shén的de儿子ér zi。Jesus Christ is the Son of God.祂tā的de使命shǐ mìng是shì让ràng我们wǒ men脱离tuō lí罪zuì成为chéng wéi洁净jié jìng，克服kè fú死亡sǐ wáng，并bìng获得huò dé永生yǒng shēng。His mission is to free us from sin, overcome death, and grant us eternal life.

神shén召唤zhào huàn先知xiān zhī来lái担任dān rèn祂tā在zài世上shì shàng的de代表dài biǎo。God calls prophets to be His representatives on earth.在zài古代gǔ dài，祂tā召唤zhào huàn了le亚当yà dāng、挪亚nuó yà、亚伯拉罕yà bó lā hǎn、摩西mó xī等děng先知xiān zhī。In ancient times, He called prophets like Adam, Noah, Abraham, and Moses.今日jīn rì有yǒu位wèi活着huó zhe的de先知xiān zhī从cóng神shén那里nà lǐ接受jiē shòu启示qǐ shì，来lái教导jiào dǎo和hé带领dài lǐng我们wǒ men。Today, a living prophet receives revelation from God to teach and lead us.

耶稣yē sū在zài尘世chén shì传道chuán dào期间qī jiān建立jiàn lì了le祂tā的de教会jiào huì。During Jesus’s mortal ministry, He established His Church.耶稣yē sū的de使徒shǐ tú过世guò shì后hòu，人们rén men就jiù普遍pǔ biàn背离bèi lí了le耶稣yē sū基督jī dū的de福音fú yīn和hé教会jiào huì。After Jesus’s Apostles died, people widely fell away from His gospel and Church.人们rén men还hái篡改cuàn gǎi了le许多xǔ duō福音fú yīn教导jiào dǎo和hé洗礼xǐ lǐ等děng圣职shèng zhí教仪jiào yí。People also altered many gospel teachings and ordinances like baptism.

神shén召唤zhào huàn约瑟yuē sè·斯密sī mì担任dān rèn先知xiān zhī，就jiù像xiàng祂tā在zài早期zǎo qī召唤zhào huàn先知xiān zhī一样yī yàng。God called Joseph Smith as a prophet, just as He called prophets long ago.天父tiān fù和hé耶稣yē sū基督jī dū向xiàng他tā显现xiǎn xiàn。Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him.耶稣yē sū基督jī dū的de福音fú yīn透过tòu guò他tā而ér复兴fù xīng。The gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through him.

摩尔门经mó ěr mén jīng是shì一部yī bù经文jīng wén；它tā像xiàng圣经shèng jīng一样yī yàng，是shì耶稣yē sū基督jī dū的de一部yī bù约书yuē shū。The Book of Mormon is a scripture; like the Bible, it testifies of Jesus Christ.只要zhǐ yào我们wǒ men阅读yuè dú并bìng应用yìng yòng摩尔门经mó ěr mén jīng中zhōng的de教训jiào xùn，就jiù会huì更gèng接近jiē jìn神shén。By reading and applying its teachings, we draw closer to God.约瑟yuē sè·斯密sī mì藉着jiè zhe神shén的de恩赐ēn cì和hé能力néng lì翻译fān yì了le摩尔门经mó ěr mén jīng。Joseph Smith translated it by God’s gift and power.
