A + 跟 + B + 一样 (+ Adj.) · Traditional: A + 跟 + B + 一樣 (+ Adj.)
To say two things are the same, sandwich them around 跟…一样: 我的手机跟你的一样 "my phone is the same as yours". Add an adjective after 一样 to say same in WHAT way: 他跟他爸爸一样高 "he's as tall as his dad".
The negative just inserts 不 before 一样: 今天的天气跟昨天不一样 "today's weather is different from yesterday's". Like in 比 sentences, the adjective after 一样 stays bare — no 很.

我的手机跟你的一样。

wǒ de shǒu jī gēn nǐ de yī yàng
My phone is the same as yours.
他跟他爸爸一样高。

tā gēn tā bà ba yī yàng gāo
