Chang'e Flies to the Moon
很久以前，天上突然出现十个太阳！Long ago, ten suns suddenly appeared in the sky!大地被烤得冒烟，人们热得喘不过气。The earth was scorched and smoking, and people were so hot they couldn't breathe.神箭手后羿举起弓箭，"嗖嗖嗖"射下九个太阳。The divine archer Houyi raised his bow and arrow, and with a "whoosh whoosh whoosh," shot down nine suns.只留一个照亮人间。He left only one to illuminate the world.
天帝奖励后羿一颗长生不老药，说："吃下就能成仙！"The Heavenly Emperor rewarded Houyi with an immortality pill, saying, "Eat this and you can become an immortal!"
后羿把药交给妻子嫦娥保管。Houyi entrusted the pill to his wife Chang'e for safekeeping.可是，坏徒弟蓬蒙偷偷想抢药。However, the wicked disciple Peng Meng secretly wanted to steal the pill.
一天晚上，蓬蒙趁后羿不在，举刀冲进屋子："快把仙药交出来！"One night, when Houyi was not home, Peng Meng rushed into the house with a knife, shouting, "Hand over the immortality pill!"嫦娥急中生智，抓起药吞了下去！In a moment of desperation, Chang'e grabbed the pill and swallowed it!突然，她身子变轻飘了起来，越飞越高。Suddenly, her body became light and she floated up, flying higher and higher.最后落到了冷清的月亮上。Finally, she landed on the desolate moon.
后羿回家后伤心极了，每晚都望着月亮。When Houyi returned home, he was heartbroken and gazed at the moon every night.他发现月亮上有个晃动的影子，就像嫦娥在跳舞。He noticed a swaying shadow on the moon, as if Chang'e was dancing.人们说，嫦娥身边有只雪白的玉兔陪她捣药。People say that beside Chang'e, there is a snow-white jade rabbit accompanying her in pounding medicine.还有棵永远砍不倒的桂树飘香。There is also an ever-fragrant osmanthus tree that can never be chopped down.
寓意：有时候为了保护爱的人，我们需要勇敢的牺牲。即使分离，美好的记忆也会像月光一样永远明亮。Moral: Sometimes, to protect the ones we love, we need to make brave sacrifices. Even in separation, beautiful memories will shine forever like moonlight.
