火焰山热得像蒸笼。The Flaming Mountain was as hot as a steaming oven.土地公说：“须借铁扇公主的芭蕉扇灭火！”The Earth Deity said, 'We must borrow Princess Iron Fan’s palm-leaf fan to extinguish the fire!'可悟空曾得罪她儿子红孩儿。But Wukong had offended her son, Red Boy.公主一扇子把他吹飞五万里！With one wave of her fan, the Princess blew him fifty thousand li away!
悟空变虫子钻进公主肚子，逼她交假扇子。Wukong turned into a bug, crawled into the Princess’s belly, and forced her to hand over a fake fan.火越扇越大！The fire grew fiercer the more it was fanned!
八戒急得扯耳朵：“猴哥，你害惨我们了！”Bajie anxiously tugged his ears: 'Monkey Brother, you’ve gotten us into big trouble!'
最后，众神帮忙，哪吒大战牛魔王。Finally, the gods helped as Nezha battled the Bull Demon King.公主无奈交扇，悟空连扇四十九下。The Princess reluctantly surrendered the fan, and Wukong waved it forty-nine times in a row.大雨倾盆，青山绿野重现。Torrential rain poured down, and green hills and plains reappeared.
八戒嘀咕：“早还扇子多好，打什么架嘛！”Bajie grumbled, 'Would have been better to return the fan early; why fight at all!'
寓意：退一步海阔天空，赌气只会两败俱伤。Moral: A step back allows boundless vistas; stubbornness only leads to mutual harm.
