Morning Subway

小郭xiǎo guō每天měi tiān早上zǎo shang七点qī diǎn起床qǐ chuáng。Xiao Guo wakes up at seven every morning.他tā在zài公司gōng sī上班shàng bān，住zhù在zài地铁站dì tiě zhàn附近fù jìn。He works at a company and lives near the subway station.今天jīn tiān他tā起qǐ得de有点yǒu diǎn晚wǎn。Today he got up a little late.

他tā赶紧gǎn jǐn刷牙shuā yá、洗脸xǐ liǎn、吃chī面包miàn bāo。He quickly brushes his teeth, washes his face, and eats some bread.出门chū mén的de时候shí hou，他tā看到kàn dào外面wài miàn下雨xià yǔ了le。When he goes out, he sees it’s raining outside.他tā没带méi dài伞sǎn，只好zhǐ hǎo跑去pǎo qù地铁站dì tiě zhàn。He didn’t bring an umbrella, so he has to run to the subway station.地铁里dì tiě lǐ人rén很多hěn duō，他tā站在zhàn zài门口mén kǒu。There are many people in the subway; he stands by the door.

一个yī gè女孩nǚ hái在zài看书kàn shū，旁边páng biān的de老人lǎo rén听tīng音乐yīn yuè。A girl is reading a book, and an old man nearby is listening to music.小郭xiǎo guō想着xiǎng zhe：“今天jīn tiān一定yí dìng要yào早点zǎo diǎn到dào公司gōng sī。”Xiao Guo thinks, “I must get to the office early today.”
