师徒走到高老庄，一户人家正哭哭啼啼。The master and his disciples arrived at Gao Village, where a family was wailing.原来，三年前招了个能干女婿。As it turned out, three years ago they had taken on a capable son-in-law.谁知他竟是猪头人身的妖怪！Who knew he was a demon with a pig's head and a human body!
孙悟空拍胸脯：“看老孙抓他！”Sun Wukong pounded his chest and said, 'Watch Old Sun catch him!'他变成小姐模样坐在屋里。He transformed into a young lady and sat in the house.晚上，黑脸大耳的猪妖进屋。At night, the pig demon with a black face and large ears entered the house.他喊：“娘子，俺老猪回来啦！”He shouted, 'My dear wife, your old pig has returned!'
悟空现出原形，举棒要打。Wukong revealed his true form and raised his staff to strike.猪妖吓得丢下钉耙，“菩萨让我等取经人，饶命啊！”The pig demon, terrified, dropped his rake and pleaded, 'Bodhisattva said you were pilgrims; spare my life!'
玄奘给他起名“猪八戒”，叹气道：Xuanzang gave him the name 'Zhu Bajie' and sighed.“唉，你这贪吃的性子，路上可怎么好……”'Alas, with your gluttonous nature, how will you behave on the journey...?'
寓意：人都有缺点，但要努力改正。Moral: Everyone has flaws, but must strive to correct them.
