Chapter 4: Tang Sanzang’s Pilgrimage for Scriptures

唐朝的玄奘和尚发愿去西天取经。During the Tang Dynasty, the monk Xuanzang vowed to journey to the Western Heaven to obtain scriptures.观音菩萨化作老僧,送他锦襕袈裟和九环锡杖。The bodhisattva Guanyin transformed into an old monk and presented him with a brocade kasaya and a nine-ringed staff.“路上险恶,会有徒弟护你”。'The road ahead is perilous; disciples will protect you.'
玄奘走到五指山下,忽听喊声。Xuanzang reached the foot of the Five Finger Mountain and suddenly heard cries for help.“师父救我!”'Master, save me!'只见石缝里钻出颗毛茸茸的脑袋——正是孙悟空!A fuzzy head suddenly poked out of a crack—it was Sun Wukong!玄奘揭去山顶符咒,“轰”的一声山崩了!Xuanzang removed the talisman at the summit and with a booming crash the mountain collapsed!孙悟空跪地就拜:“师父!老孙保你去西天!”Sun Wukong knelt and bowed, 'Master! Old Sun will protect you on your journey west!'可悟空野性难改,打死了几个强盗。But Wukong's wild nature persisted, and he killed several bandits.玄奘念起紧箍咒。Xuanzang began reciting the Tightening Spell.悟空疼得打滚。Wukong writhed in pain.“师父别念!我再不敢了!”'Master, please stop! I won't dare again!'
寓意:真正的改变,需要耐心和约束。Moral: True change requires patience and restraint.
