Advanced Chinese: the 1,300 words the HSK 2.0 syllabus adds at level 5 (2,500 words in total by the end of level 5).

HSK 2.0 is the older six-level exam. Many test centres still run it on regular test dates, but the 2026 HSK 3.0 syllabus regroups the words: of these 1,300, 2 in HSK 1, 2 in HSK 2, 12 in HSK 3, 114 in HSK 4, 774 in HSK 5, 258 in HSK 6, 125 in HSK 7–9, and the rest are not in the 2026 lists.

How to use this deck

  1. Look at the front and say the answer out loud before you flip.
  2. Flip, check, and mark Knew it or Didn’t know. Be strict: a slow or half-right answer is a miss.
  3. At the end of the set, review only the cards you missed until none are left.
  4. Come back tomorrow and do the set again before starting a new one. Short daily sessions beat long ones.
